Many people go through life with no real sense of purpose goals or aims. As we enter a new year, be intententional, build in some aims into your life and begin to see things change by the power of God.
How many of you welcome a change of plan? How many welcome an interruption to your life. Mary experienced a divine interruption when Gabriel visited her and told her she was to become pregnant and give birth to the Messiah. Her response was 'I am the Lord's servant, may your word to me be fulfilled'. Are you open for a divine interruption, and more importantly, are you willing to say 'I am the Lord's servant, may your word to be be fulfilled.
In our story today, we see a woman who showed extravagant worship to Jesus, she was unashamed in the way she showed her love and thanks to Jesus. In her relationship to Jesus, she was 'All In', fully devoted. What about your life, are you all in for Jesus.
Many times in our lives and situations we see rubble, or what we believe is rubble. But take heart, God can bring great things out of the rubble of our lives and set us on a path of seeing his glory come in our lives and through our lives.
Continuing with the theme 'Now is the time' this message explores the story Jesus told about the invitation to the great banquet and the many excuses people made for not attending. The truth is, Jesus is extending the invitation to everyone to enter into a relationship with hiim.
God wants to bless your life. We are called as believers to live in the overflow of God's blessing. As we are blessed, we in turn become a blessing. Luke 6:38 reminds us that the measure we use, this will be the measure we receive. The challenge for our lives is to live a life of generosity where we give our lives fully to Jesus Christ.
